Nonli connector for Claude and ChatGPT (MCP)
Nonli is a social media management platform for media and brands. The Nonli connector lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT work with the company you belong to in Nonli, with your own Nonli rights, through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Server URL
1https://api.nonli.com/v2.1/mcpRequirements: A Nonli user account in a company with a Nonli subscription.
Connect from Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile)
- 1In Claude, add a custom connector with the URL
https://api.nonli.com/v2.1/mcp. Leave the client ID and client secret empty and add no header. (Once Nonli is listed in Claude’s connector directory, you can also add it from there.) - 2On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds the connector once, under Organization settings > Connectors; each member then connects with their own Nonli account.
- 3Select Connect: Claude opens the Nonli sign-in page, then a consent screen showing the company the connection will act in. Select Allow.
Connect from ChatGPT
- 1Create an app (connector) for the URL
https://api.nonli.com/v2.1/mcpwith OAuth authentication, leaving the client credentials empty. Which plans and workspace roles can do this is set by OpenAI and your workspace settings (developer mode). (Once Nonli is listed in ChatGPT’s apps directory, you can also add it from there.) - 2Sign in to Nonli and select Allow on the consent screen.
Other MCP clients (Claude Code, Cursor, …)
Use the same URL with OAuth when your client supports it. Clients that send a fixed header can use a Nonli API token instead, sent as Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN.
What the assistant can do
The assistant only sees the tools your Nonli rights allow.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_brands | Lists the brands of your company. |
list_social_accounts | Lists the social accounts connected to Nonli. |
search_posts | Searches your posts by text, network, account, status or period. |
get_post | Reads one post with its content and statistics. |
get_post_stats | Gets the statistics of your posts, such as reach and engagement, over a period. |
list_listening_accounts | Searches the accounts followed by social listening. |
create_posts | Creates posts on your social accounts.Creating posts can submit them for validation, schedule them or publish them on your social accounts when your role allows it. Claude and ChatGPT ask you before running it. |
Example prompts
- “Which of our posts got the most engagement on Instagram last week?”
- “Compare the reach of our posts on Facebook and Instagram over the last 30 days.”
- “Find our posts about the elections published this month.”
- “Draft a LinkedIn post announcing our new podcast and submit it for validation.”
Permissions
- The connection acts with the rights of the user who approved it, in the company shown on the consent screen, and those rights are checked again at every request: a role change or a removed access applies to the next call.
- A connection never does more than the user can do in Nonli, and never reaches company administration.
- It stays valid for 365 days unless you end it.
End a connection
- In Nonli, under My Information > Connected applications. Each user manages only their own connections there; they do not appear on the company API tokens page.
- After revocation, the assistant’s next request is refused and it offers to connect again.
Data and privacy
The connector receives only the arguments of each tool call, never your conversation with the assistant. Data is processed under the Nonli privacy policy.
