Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's main news media. Here is the August 2026 TOP 40.
A first in twelve rankings: TF1 INFO finishes on top. On a summer month with more measured volumes, the page edges out BFMTV and Brut., which had shared first place between them since the series launched.
1. The Month's Top 5#

Femme ActuelleHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.
3. What Stands Out#
HugoDécrypte enters the top 10 in only its third ranking: 6th with 58.0 million views (+25%), its record, and the table's best ratio, 247.1% of its community in views per post from just 60 posts.
In a month where most national pages publish less, several titles move up. Le Parisien gains five spots (11th, +6%) from only 68 posts, LCI gains seven (18th, +17%) and Public Sénat eight (31st, +21%). RTL (7th) and France Inter (9th) each gain three.
The regional press sets two records: Midi Libre (24th, +37%, nine spots gained) and La Voix du Nord (27th, +10%). Le Télégramme (34th) and Corse-Matin (37th) return to the TOP 40 with their best total on the series, and Mediapart and Femme Actuelle are back in the ranking too.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French news media. Only one page per media brand is counted: its main page, without aggregating local or topical pages. The ranking covers views on videos and Reels published between August 1 and 31, 2026, read through the Nonli API. Since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal. Follower counts are those observed when the ranking was generated.
In the same series, previous month: July 2026 ranking.
