French News Media Facebook Ranking: September 2025

Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's main news media. Here is the September 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Brut. leads the ranking with 214,258,958 views from 419 posts. L'Équipe follows with 163,228,716 views, ahead of RTL (127,034,668 views). BFMTV and TF1 INFO round out the top 5 with 111,217,303 views and 96,278,799 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with August 2025, Var-Matin posts the biggest climb in the table: 13 places gained, from 35th to 22nd. L'Équipe, absent the previous month, enters the ranking at 2nd (163,228,716 views). On efficiency, Var-Matin shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (47.0%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French news media. The ranking covers video views on videos and Reels published between September 1 and 30, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
