Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR"). Here is the May 2026 TOP 40.
A third straight month on top for Le Parisien, which shifted up a gear this time. And the comeback of the month is called La Provence.

La Presse de la MancheHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. The higher the ratio, the further the account reaches beyond its own community.
3. What Stands Out#
The performance of the month belongs to Courrier Picard: volume multiplied by seven, a jump from 33rd to 15th place and a 36% ratio. When a format takes off, everything moves fast.
Le Progrès is back in the top 6 with 361 posts, the highest cadence in the ranking. Var-Matin gained sixteen spots (20th), and Nice-Matin's efficiency (17.4%) confirms its rise owes nothing to volume: just 107 posts over the month.
On pure efficiency, La Presse de la Manche (74%), Presse Océan (66%) and L'Écho Républicain (56%) kept their status as small pages with big reach.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of the French regional daily press. The ranking covers views on videos and Reels published between May 1 and 31, 2026, read through the Nonli API. Since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal. Follower counts are those observed when the ranking was generated.
In the same series, previous month: April 2026 ranking.
