French Regional Press Facebook Ranking: December 2025

Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR", presse quotidienne régionale). Here is the December 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

La Dépêche du Midi leads the ranking with 30,148,688 views from 192 posts. La Provence follows with 26,856,753 views, ahead of Le Parisien (25,212,554 views). Le Dauphiné Libéré and Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace - DNA round out the top 5 with 22,861,151 views and 15,353,547 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with November 2025, SudOuest.fr posts the biggest climb in the table: 11 places gained, from 17th to 6th. jhm, absent the previous month, enters the ranking at 28th (1,818,814 views). On efficiency, Le Courrier de l'Ouest shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (366.9%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French regional dailies (PQR). The ranking covers video views on videos and Reels published between December 1 and 31, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
