Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR", presse quotidienne régionale). Here is the February 2026 TOP 40.
There's a new leader this month. La Provence moved ahead of Le Parisien by just over 64,000 views, with both pages around 21.6 million. A narrow margin, and a sign of a leaderboard being reshuffled at the top.
1. The Month's Top 5#
La Provence takes charge with 21.6 million views from 207 posts (7.4 a day). Le Parisien follows neck and neck. Le Dauphiné Libéré climbs onto the podium with 15.8 million views and the highest publishing volume in the ranking: 362 posts, almost 13 a day. Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace (13.5M) and La Dépêche du Midi (12.7M) complete the top 5.

La République des PyrénéesHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. The higher the ratio, the further the account reaches beyond its own community.
3. What Stands Out#
Le Dauphiné Libéré owns its reputation as a publishing machine: 362 posts in February, the highest volume in the whole ranking, earning a 3rd place taken from DNA. Le Progrès confirmed its place in the top 10, sitting 7th with 300 posts and a pace that hasn't slowed in months.
Sud Ouest rose to 6th with 8.8 million views, and Le Bien Public settled into 11th after gaining six places on the back of 237 posts. La Voix du Nord held its 20th position with 3.4 million views.
The other way to read this table is per-post efficiency. L'Éveil de la Haute-Loire published 22 times in the month, and each post averaged 136% of its community size in views. Presse Océan (63.5%), Le Courrier de l'Ouest (62.1%) and Le Petit Bleu d'Agen (80.7%) show the same profile: few posts, but videos that travel far beyond their followers. For local newsrooms, it's proof that a modest page can build real audiences without an industrial publishing cadence.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of the French regional daily press. The ranking covers views on videos and Reels published between February 1 and 28, 2026. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
