French Regional Press Facebook Ranking: September 2025

Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR", presse quotidienne régionale). Here is the September 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Le Parisien leads the ranking with 39,416,576 views from 149 posts. La Provence follows with 24,054,518 views, ahead of La Dépêche du Midi (21,505,292 views). Ouest-France and Le Dauphiné Libéré round out the top 5 with 17,165,779 views and 16,281,256 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with August 2025, Var-Matin posts the biggest climb in the table: 17 places gained, from 24th to 7th. L'Yonne Républicaine, absent the previous month, enters the ranking at 38th (320,804 views). On efficiency, jhm shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (154.5%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French regional dailies (PQR). The ranking covers video views on videos and Reels published between September 1 and 30, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
