French News Media Instagram Ranking: October 2025

Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the views generated by videos and Reels on the Instagram accounts of France's main news media. Here is the October 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Brut. leads the ranking with 554,861,592 views from 387 posts. L'Équipe follows with 117,909,400 views, ahead of RTL (102,926,805 views). France Inter and Le Parisien round out the top 5 with 86,614,730 views and 82,338,126 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with September 2025, Mediapart posts the biggest climb in the table: 11 places gained, from 32nd to 21st. L'Équipe, absent the previous month, enters the ranking at 2nd (117,909,400 views). On efficiency, Chaîne nationale des régions shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (223.6%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Instagram accounts of French news media. The ranking covers video views on videos and Reels published between October 1 and 31, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
