Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the views generated by Reels on the Instagram accounts of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR"). Here is the August 2026 TOP 40.
Le Parisien stays on top for a twelfth consecutive month, a full year unbroken since the series launched. Behind it, Le Progrès and Le Dauphiné Libéré climb back into the top 5, and Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace returns to the top 10.

Le Petit Bleu d'AgenHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.
3. What Stands Out#
Midi Libre sets its record (8th, +16%) with a 97.3% ratio, and Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace gains six spots (10th, +31%) to return to the top 10. Le Bien Public sets its record too (13th, +35%) at 125.9%.
The strongest rises: Vosges Matin multiplies its views by 2.5 (+151%), gains nine spots (23rd) and reaches 329.3% from only eight Reels. Le Télégramme gains five spots (16th, +138%), Le Républicain Lorrain doubles its views (27th, +102%) and Courrier Picard gains eight spots (30th, +87%). France-Antilles Martinique sets its record (19th).
Two newcomers: L'Écho Républicain (34th) and L'Éveil de la Haute-Loire (37th, 211.7% from 7,353 followers). The month's oddity goes to Le Petit Bleu d'Agen, whose three Reels were viewed 131,743 times, 2,262.5% of its 1,941-follower community.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Instagram accounts of the French regional daily press. Only one account per media brand is counted: its main account, without aggregating local or topical accounts. The ranking covers views on Reels published between August 1 and 31, 2026, read through the Nonli API. Since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal. Follower counts are those observed when the ranking was generated.
