French Regional Press Instagram Ranking: October 2025

Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the views generated by Reels on the Instagram accounts of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR", presse quotidienne régionale). Here is the October 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Le Parisien leads the ranking with 82,574,893 views from 195 posts. Le Progrès follows with 26,625,007 views, ahead of La Dépêche du Midi (24,436,497 views). La Provence and Le Dauphiné Libéré round out the top 5 with 20,617,220 views and 19,178,315 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with September 2025, L'Union posts the biggest climb in the table: 11 places gained, from 26th to 15th. Charente Libre, absent the previous month, enters the ranking at 29th (254,271 views). On efficiency, Vosges Matin shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (280.2%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Instagram accounts of French regional dailies (PQR). The ranking covers Reels views on Reels published between October 1 and 31, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
