Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's main news media. Here is the March 2026 TOP 40.
The duel announced in February went down to the wire. BFMTV takes first place by a whisker over Brut, as March's dense news cycle pushed the news channels to volumes rarely seen.
1. The Month's Top 5#
BFMTV posted a huge month: 340.6 million views from 494 posts, edging out Brut by barely 6 million. Brut held firm at 334.2 million from 552 posts: the two leaders finished neck and neck, the tightest top-two of the series. TF1 INFO completes the podium at 270.1 million, a record on this series.
France 24 reclaims 4th place with 153.3 million views and 766 posts over the month. RTL closes the top 5 at 151.4 million with the best ratio of the quintet: each post averages 12.9% of its community size in views.

La Voix du NordHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.
3. What Stands Out#
Hard news dominated the month and every channel benefited. LCI gained one spot (6th) with just 223 posts and a 15.8% ratio, the best in the top 10. CNEWS climbed to 11th with an extraordinary cadence: 1,662 video posts over the month.
Public Sénat pulled off the most spectacular climb in the table, into 13th, with an average post earning 41% of its community size in views, the best ratio in the ranking. Futura moved up to 20th.
Among regional titles in this national ranking, Le Parisien and La Provence remain the best placed, and Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace posted a 17% ratio from 347 posts.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French news media. The ranking covers views on videos and Reels published between March 1 and 31, 2026, read through the Nonli API. Since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal. Follower counts are those observed when the ranking was generated.
In the same series, previous month: February 2026 ranking; next month: April 2026 ranking.
This ranking is published every month on this blog and on Nonli's LinkedIn page. To track these metrics for your own accounts and your market, get in touch.
