Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's main news media. Here is the April 2026 TOP 40.
After an exceptional March for all the news channels, April marks a return to more usual levels. One thing did not change: BFMTV stays on top, for the second month in a row.
1. The Month's Top 5#
BFMTV confirms its first place with 281.3 million views from 575 posts. Brut. climbs back to 2nd at 213.3 million, a volume nearly identical to March: the historical leader's consistency stands out against the swings in the rest of the table. TF1 INFO completes the podium at 193.2 million.
RTL holds 4th place (93.9M), and France Inter enters the top 5: 82.2 million views, four spots gained in one month.

La MontagneHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.
3. What Stands Out#
The climb of the month belongs to France Inter, from 9th to 5th place. The station published 403 posts and held an 8.7% ratio, solid for a 2.3-million-follower community.
Le Monde made a nice jump, from 32nd to 20th. RFI gained four spots (17th) and La Dépêche du Midi entered the national top 20 (18th), a rarity for a regional title.
LCP once again posted the most impressive ratio in the table: 91.5% of its community size in views per post. M6 Info was one of the few top 10 pages to grow its volume in a quieter April, at +17%.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French news media. The ranking covers views on videos and Reels published between April 1 and 30, 2026, read through the Nonli API. Since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal. Follower counts are those observed when the ranking was generated.
In the same series, previous month: March 2026 ranking; next month: May 2026 ranking.
This ranking is published every month on this blog and on Nonli's LinkedIn page. To track these metrics for your own accounts and your market, get in touch.
