Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the views generated by Reels on the Instagram accounts of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR", presse quotidienne régionale). Here is the September 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Le Parisien leads the ranking with 84,027,944 views from 182 posts. La Provence follows with 26,414,222 views, ahead of La Dépêche du Midi (21,638,521 views). Sud Ouest and Le Progrès round out the top 5 with 18,680,666 views and 16,007,701 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

On efficiency, La Nouvelle République shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (410.9%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Instagram accounts of French regional dailies (PQR). The ranking covers Reels views on Reels published between September 1 and 30, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
