Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the video views generated by the Facebook pages of France's main news media. Here is the January 2026 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Brut. leads the ranking with 271,357,569 views from 483 posts. BFMTV follows with 252,328,655 views, ahead of TF1 INFO (205,892,999 views). France 24 and RTL round out the top 5 with 143,606,845 views and 112,583,477 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with December 2025, Var-Matin posts the biggest climb in the table: 13 places gained, from 35th to 22nd. Valeurs actuelles, absent the previous month, enters the ranking at 39th (3,243,035 views). On efficiency, Var-Matin shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (69.9%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Facebook pages of French news media. The ranking covers video views on videos and Reels published between January 1 and 31, 2026. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
