actu.frHow to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the account has followers. On Instagram, where Reels travel far outside communities, this ratio climbs fast for accounts whose formats click.
3. What Stands Out#
TF1 INFO's efficiency is the lesson of the month: fewer posts than its direct competitors, but Reels that travel very far. At this rate, each post reaches nearly the equivalent of the account's entire community.
Public Sénat continued its breakthrough, from 26th to 15th place. LCI posted a 110% ratio: each post earns more views than the account has followers.
The regional press confirmed its presence in the national table: Var-Matin posted the highest ratio of the ranking at 151%, ahead of actu.fr (105%). Reels remain the most powerful lever of the moment for local newsrooms.
4. Methodology#
The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Instagram accounts of French news media. The ranking covers views on videos and Reels published between March 1 and 31, 2026, read through the Nonli API. Since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal. Follower counts are those observed when the ranking was generated.
In the same series, previous month: February 2026 ranking; next month: April 2026 ranking.
This ranking is published every month on this blog and on Nonli's LinkedIn page. To track these metrics for your own accounts and your market, get in touch.
