Every month, Nonli's social listening measures the views generated by Reels on the Instagram accounts of France's regional daily newspapers (the "PQR", presse quotidienne régionale). Here is the December 2025 TOP 40, with each account's view volume, publishing cadence and a per-post performance indicator.

1. The Month's Top 5#

Le Parisien leads the ranking with 83,348,488 views from 196 posts. Le Dauphiné Libéré follows with 29,803,975 views, ahead of La Dépêche du Midi (29,657,749 views). Le Progrès and Sud Ouest round out the top 5 with 24,427,144 views and 23,911,512 views.

How to read the "Views per follower" column: 100% means an average post earns as many views as the page has followers. It's a good proxy for an account's ability to reach beyond its own community.

3. What Stands Out#

Compared with November 2025, France-Antilles Guadeloupe posts the biggest climb in the table: 14 places gained, from 36th to 22nd. On efficiency, Le Courrier de l'Ouest shows the best views-per-post-vs-followers ratio in the ranking (682.7%): an average post there reaches an audience well beyond its own community size.

4. Methodology#

The data comes from Nonli's social listening, which continuously tracks the public Instagram accounts of French regional dailies (PQR). The ranking covers Reels views on Reels published between December 1 and 31, 2025. Counters are read at the end of the period; since views keep accruing after publication, small differences with later readings are normal.
